California Recovery ~ Our Past and Present

California Recovery has been a safe place to recover for 15 years.  We are located 2 miles from the beach in Costa Mesa, California. Since then, California Recovery has helped over 5,000 men and women.  From the beginning, we have had constant growth.  We now have over 20 staff members.  All of them are alumni. Back then, we were merely a 10-day women’s detox. Today some residents stay for over a year.  The California Recovery client base now reaches all walks of life.

We help get clients out of jail. Many are court ordered here. California Recovery employs a court liaison.  Therefore, alternate sentencing is one of our strengths.

California Recovery offers a continuum of care. It begins with social model detox. Continues on to residential treatment. We then offer Sober Living. We have everything one needs to begin their sober life.

California Recovery is located in east Costa Mesa.  We are just two miles from the coast. We now have 9 homes. This allows us to help over 80 clients at a time. we have 50 men’s beds and 30 womens’. We also offer SASCA funded beds. Our program is 12-step based.   Proof of the success of our program is the large alumni group that supports it. We offer anyone a bed for the night. We do provide some scholarships. Those with financial need may apply.  These are provided through various grants and programs.  This allows us to help anyone who truly wants it.
