Substance Abuse Rehabilitation
Substance Abuse Rehabilitation
Inpatient Detox Programs
Substance Abuse Rehabilitation at California Recovery begins with detoxification. Our program can help you detox from alcohol and most drugs. We offer detox from all of the addictive drug families. These included opiates, benzos, hallucinogens and prescription drugs. Our detox phase runs from 7-10 days. On intake the client will be evaluated. This is to determine whether medical attention is necessary. We wish to provide the safest place for recovery possible. This is the first step in doing so.
Residential Treatment Centers
The next step in Substance Abuse Rehabilitation is residential treatment. This phase runs 30-90 days. During this phase clients will attend our Day Program. Monday through Friday they will attend 4-5 meetings a day. All residents in this phase attend Day Program. The groups range from relapse prevention to life skills. On Mondays the clients have a day of groups on job searching and interview taking. At least one group per day is a split group where the women and men are separate. This allows clients to share more easily. Clients are also required to complete assignments. These help deal with core issues. They will go over these with our licensed counselors in a one-on-one session. They have one required session per week. This is but a minimum. There are always at least 3 counselors on duty. They are always willing to have an extra session with clients.
Oxford House Sober Living Homes
The final phase of our substance abuse rehabilitation is oxford house sober living.
Here the client is expected to hold a job. They work with newcomer and attend meetings. Each house is self run. Each resident gets a vote on how the house is run. Potential residents must submit an application. This will be reviewed by the residents of the house. They will conduct an interview with the applicant. Following the interview the house will vote on whether or not the person would be a fir for the house. When voted in they will sign a set of house rules. These rules vary depending on the house. Residents can stay as long as they wish as long as they maintain their sobriety. The only reason anyone is removed from the house is relapse. With homes like this relapse is not common. We generally do not see more than single relapse each year coming out of all 3 of these houses that we run. You always have the support of other people with sober time. There is always someone to talk to. This is important for building on the foundation you formed in the first two phases of our substance abuse rehabilitation program.
